In other Jolie-Pitt news, Brad and Angie are eligible for almost $2,600/month as part of France’s generous parenting subsidies. They are not likely to accept the cash thought as, duh, they have plenty of it.

“We do not discuss individual benefits cases,” a spokeswoman for France’s Brignoles council tells People. “But [we] can confirm that all resident local families with young children are eligible for certain benefits.”

Angelina Jolie is much more than just a mommy to her beautiful children, as she’s still keeping busy in the moving making industry.

There are talks that Ms. Jolie will replace Tom Cruise in the new espionage thriller Edwin A. Salt. And if everything goes as planned, she’ll be portraying a CIA officer falsely accused of being a Russian agent.

While Jolie contemplates whether or not she will take that role, a new actress is setting up to take over her previous role as Lara Croft: Tomb Raider.

Other stars have definitely noticed the Jolie-Pitt family’s generousity, including Cynthia Nixon, who ended her 15-year relationship with Danny Mozes in 2003 and has been with partner Christine Marinoni since 2004.

“I think it’s great,” Cynthia told reporters of Brad’s $100K gift, while at the Sex and the City extended DVD release party at New York’s Public Library on Thursday night.

“I think it’s great the way Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie always give their money – and the things they give it to,” she added. “And the enormous amounts that they give of it, is just incredibly commendable, and I think they inspire a lot of other people to give as well.”

Her SATC co-star Mario Cantone also thinks Brad’s gift is generous, and wants something else from him as well.

“I want Brad Pitt to play my boyfriend [in the SATC sequel]. Why not? He gave $100,000 to the amendment … they’re trying to turn over the gay marriage law, and it’s just awful,” he says of the proposed ban.

“Why are they doing that? They hate us, boy, they hate us. They gave $100,000 towards that, which is so thrilling, and he said a few years ago ‘I’m not getting married until every one else can.’ So he should play my boyfriend in the sequel.
